Adusumilli V. Rajamouli was on deputation in Andhra Pradesh since August 2015 was relieved by the state government to his parent cadre on Thursday.
Rajamouli served as the secretary to the chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu after he was deputed to the AP cadre, but the present government kept him without any posting for some time. He was recently given the responsibility of looking after the preparedness of covid hospitals as a special officer and ex-officio secretary.
As his deputation comes to an end, he is entitled for two months’ leave, from August 6 to October 6, and the chief secretary issued orders instructing him to report to UP cadre after the leave period.

UP Food and Civil Supplies Commissioner Adusumilli Rajamouli’s study leave has been approved. According to All India Services (Conduct) Rules, 1968, an IAS officer is allowed from six months to 2 years paid leave to pursue higher studies.

Rajamouli (Uttar Pradesh 2003) presently on study leave, has been appointed as Secretary, Home Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
