Our Mumbai friends often raved how their kids loved KidZania. KidZania is a global edutainment theme park. It had opened its first park in Mumbai, India way back in 2013. Since then we have wistfully wished for a similar indoor amusement park for our kids. Noida peeps….days of yearning are over. Now, our kids too can enjoy the world of Kidzania – A City of Adventures for Kids in Noida that opened here on May 26, 2016.

KidZania Delhi NCR is the 24th metropolis and second in India after Mumbai success. Earlier this year in January Shah Rukh Khan, the co-promoter of the project, had launched KidZania by hoisting a KidZania flag in the Entertainment City. The franchise license for KidZania in India is owned by Imagination Edutainment.

What is Kidzania – A City of Adventures for Kids in Noida

KidZania is a city full of real life adventures ready to be explored by kids spread across three floors over a huge area of nearly one lakh sq ft. The real world city is replicated at a kiddie-level with battery cars running on paved roads flanked by residential and industrial buildings and city has its own money called KidZos (as in monopoly or life board games) needed to work your way through it. A great way of empowering kids with financial literacy.

KidZania – A Role Play Center

Here kids can slip into the roles of over 90 different career tags and experience the professional world. Top Brands Association in Establishments

Top local and global brands like Adidas, Dunkin’ Donuts, Maruti, Shiamak, VLCC have partnered with the franchise to give experiential learning of real world to kids. Bajaj Electricals for culinary school and energy conservation hub, Parle G for a biscuit factory,  Frooti for a mango drink factory, Big Bazaar for a super market, Kellogg’s for a cereal factory are among the 25 top brands that have been roped in for setting up 57 establishments where kids have a brush with the industrial economy. The NCR edition of KidZania has unique additions of Archaeological Site Exploration, Court Session, Natural Disaster Training, Indoor Stadium and Underground Utility Maintenance. Its learning with fun! Totally!

What to Expect

A trip to KidZania means fun and learning for your kids for a 3hrs, 5hrs or a full day slot. The ticket starts from INR600/- for a 3-hr pass on a weekday and max at INR1350/- on a weekend for a full day pass. The time at the establishments is limited and you may have to queue up for an activity. There are no rides or video games.

For younger siblings in 2-4 yrs age band over 17 toddler activities are designed to keep them engaged. Kids 8yrs and below are to be accompanied by adults at this theme park. Grampa’s and granny’s tickets cost less if they are over 60 yrs. But they would have to carry a valid PhotoID with age proof. A photoID may be requested at the entry or other time in the park.

All kids above 8yrs should have an adult accompanied at the time of check-in and check-out cumpolsurily. Later they can be on their own. Parents accompanying the kids to the KidZania metropolis won’t be allowed entry to the establishments instead they can relax at the Parent’s Lounge or visit Theater or Urbano’s House and enjoy some fun activities.

KidZania Noida has 25 Industry partners, 57 establishments and over 90 role play activities with real life economy playing out with  KidZos currency notes and debit cards for kids to experience a slice of real world sans the stress.

Nearest Metro Station

Sector 18 Noida. Pick a rickshaw for a less than 5 min ride to the theme park. You can ditch that too because it’s a walkable distance to the theme park. Botanical Garden metro station is adjacent to the building complex hosting KidZania.
