Ski India, Asia’s Largest Sci-Fi Snow Park Opens in Noida this summer from 1st May 2016. Chiliad Procons, one of India’s leading Hospitality and Entertainment group, announced the launch of a sci-fi themed snow park called Ski India housed at the DLF Mall of India, Sector 18, Noida, on Friday, April 22, 2016. The company claims it is Asia’s largest indoor sci-fi based snow park.

Ski India is a replica of indoor snowy ski resort, Ski Dubai. The snow park, Ski India, is quite the successor with a host of rides and attractions for people of all ages. Anyone above the age of 2 years can experience the thrill. However, in comparison, Ski Dubai located at the Mall of Emirates, is double the size. The company runs a similar Snow World in Mumbai.

The 110,000 sq ft facility, comprising of 2 floors housed in DLF Mall of India, Noida and built at a cost of Rs 70 crore, provides snow sports like Bobsledding, skiing, ice skating and Toboggan, throughout the year. This one-of-its-kind entertainment destination offers never-seen-before skiing experience and an array of intergalactic games. The the internal space temperature inside the park is maintained between -10 to -15 degree Celsius for the freezing snowfall experience. According to Ski India, the snow park’s theme is based on a fictional planet, which is part of Z-21 solar system in Andromeda galaxy around 2.5 million light years away from Earth. The snow park takes up the fifth and sixth floor at the all-new DLF Mall of India with an illuminating wormhole portal at the entry.

At the launch, Prasuk Jain, Managing Director of Chiliad Procons, said,

“The winter themed sports activities seemed untapped, pan-India. Hence, we decided to conceptualize an all year round indoor snow sport resort, introducing skiing for the first time in India. We have a strong creative force of imagineers who combine a rich legacy of entertainment with latest technology to infuse life into our dream projects. We have pushed the boundaries of innovation to make Ski India the most loved amusement destination of India. ”

Further, Priyanka Jain, Co-Founder & Business Development Head added,

“We are highly thrilled to announce the launch of Ski India in Delhi NCR and looking forward to provide a complete zone for family entertainment. The project is inspired by a Sci-Fi Theme, and is set to deliver the biggest themed snow and ski park of India at DLF Mall of India, Noida”. The concept is to provide the guests a detailed replication of a snowy ski resort with adventurous ski of various gradients ride, tubing, toboggan, bob sledge, planet walkthrough filled with penguins and other species, carousal and flat snow play area.

Ski India also boasts of a never-seen-before sci-fi world theme filled with intergalactic sports. The amusement park offers rides such as sledging, snow scooter, ice skating, snow carousel and snow play area. The team of imagineers has designed an illuminating Wormhole Portal at the entry that would transport all the earthlings (patrons) into the unseen planet. Orri & Orran (Ski India’s mascots) pilot the earthlings while the Snow Men guide them through all the intergalactic sports. Come, join the ski-fun!
