Have you heard about this upcoming unique food festival in the capital. There’s a lot of buzz going around in town about the Delhi Food Truck Festival (DFTF 2017). The food lovers are going to enjoy food from all over India at DFTF 2017. Around 30 popular food trucks and 20 food stalls from Delhi, Noida and Gurgaon are participating in this Truck Food Festival . The two-day event is just not limited to food. There would be exciting games and contests, music and rain dance concert, beer pong tournament and a craft beer fest on the sidelines. So foodies…this is your calling!!

Where is Delhi Food Truck Festival Held

The Delhi Food Truck Festival will be held at Jawahar Lal Nehru (JLN) Stadium. JLN Stadium has huge grounds and good connectivity through metro and bus service. Conveniently located JLN Stadium will host this 2-day food extravaganza DFTF 2017.

When is Delhi Food Truck Festival

The two-day long food extravaganza in Delhi will be held on April 14-15 from 12pm-10pm.

Who are the Food Partners

The Lalit Food Truck Company with pizzas, The Gourmet Street Kitchen with awesome waffles, drool-worthy Paneer Tikka and Chicken Tandoori by Star Food Trucks, What The Truck? with their exotic grills and sandwiches will be there to savor your taste buds. India’s First Food Truck, EGGjactlythefoodtruck serving the best of American Dishes would also be there. There will be FoodtruckFestIN for the ones keeping a count on their calories, This Food Truck serves grub for the health consciuos outside a supermarkets. Drifters Cafe Food Truck will dish out the popular Asian food. The Hunger Depot Pink Truck will add flavors from the highlands of North-East.

What to Expect

Variety of Food

A wide range of food from Italian pizzas, American burgers, European desserts, Japanese, Chinese, and Thai food, to Indian delicacies could be relished here. The popular Food Trucks of Delhi and NCR will be there to tingle your taste buds.

Craft Beer Carnival

There would be lots of mini events on the sidelines. Lip-smacking food and specially created beer gardens will raise the fun-meter of the food festival. You can participate in beer making at Beer Craft Fest on April 15 here at the DFTF festival. But you need to register beforehand for these mini-events on their website.

We, however at the time of writing this article, found the link to Beer Craft Fest event not activated yet. However, you can register for Food Partner event to be held at 2pm. The organizers have posted about lots of games and surprise contests on their facebook page.

Rain Dance Concert

Won’t you agree music and dance are integral part of fun. At Delhi Food Truck Festival you can enjoy music and rain dance concert too. There would be music and dance. There would be free food and free beer to be won. Aren’t you all excited?!!

UPDATE on Delhi Food Truck Festival (April 11, 2017)

Organizers today morning updated ticketing info on their facebook page. The ticket price is Rs150 for a day. This could be booked online from here. The mini events are Rain Dance Concert, Craft Beer Carnival and Food Partner Hunt. Jassi Gill and Babbal Rai would be performing Live.
