The exhibition presents a unique visual record of 19th-century Punjab, capturing the transition from the golden era of Ranjit Singh to the beginning of Queen Victoria’s reign through the eyes of Emily Eden, who documented both the princely establishment and everyday Indian life during British colonial rule.
