PRONOUNS’26, Artworm’s queer art and music festival at BeeYoung Brew Garden, runs both Saturday and Sunday with free general entry, live music, art pop-ups and hands-on workshops, making it the weekend’s most substantial community event.
But you don’t have to leave Noida for a strong pick. Saturday here is a genuine toss-up between two rare local shows: Jismaan Ton Paar at Studio Rastarang, a trans-led solo theatre performance that almost never plays Noida over Delhi, and Rupali Tyagi Live at Highlane, one of the few female-led stand-up hours on the local circuit this week. Both start around the same time, so it genuinely comes down to whether you’re in the mood for theatre or comedy. And if the monsoon cooperates, build your Sunday morning around the Bird Walk at Surajpur Wetland — weather permitting, it’s the quietest and most local start to the weekend on this list. If you are willing to leave Noida for something more intimate, Anubhav Singh Bassi’s stand-up special and the candlelit Noor-e-Nizami Qawwali evening are both worth the drive.

If you’re heading to an event in Delhi this weekend, allow extra travel time. Ongoing student protests around Jantar Mantar and heightened security during the Parliament session have led to temporary Delhi Metro station closures and traffic restrictions in parts of Central Delhi, including Connaught Place, Janpath and nearby areas.
Metro access and road diversions may change at short notice, so check the latest DMRC and Delhi Traffic Police updates before leaving.

Friday and Sunday are lighter and easier to build a full evening or morning around without over-scheduling: Friday’s Noida lineup wraps by 9pm, so it reads as comedy-then-dinner rather than an all-nighter, and Sunday splits cleanly into an early slot (Run Wild and the Bird Walk both start around 6am) and a separate afternoon-into-evening slot (Kids Carnival, PRONOUNS Day 2, Barkha Ritu), so the two don’t compete for your time. Budget-wise, the free picks — PRONOUNS’26, Flux of Being, the Botanical Art talk, Sufi Night at Gulshan One29 — can anchor a full day on food and travel costs alone, while ticket prices otherwise range from ₹100 for Friday’s film screening up to ₹3,799+ for Sonu Nigam. Sector 43’s Laugh Casa has a packed Friday, back-to-back sets. Nishant Tanwar’s 6pm show, Let Your Stories Meet Mine, turns everyday Indian middle-class life into observational comedy; expect the M-Ticket entry format, 90 minutes, 16+, Hindi/Hinglish, and it’s filling fast. Vivek Samtani’s earlier 4pm slot is a good option if you want to catch both. Eat nearby: Laugh Casa is inside Rcube Monad Mall, so the mall’s own food court (Haldiram’s, Barbeque Nation, Cafe Delhi Heights, Chili’s, Social) covers you before or after either show. If a late-night out is more your pace, Studio XO in Sector 94 hosts a Bollywood night with Jeewan Khanna Live from 9pm, a standing event with a DJ opening act, signature cocktails and a premium bar setting. 2 hours, 16+, Hindi.

Noida / Greater Noida
Jismaan Ton Paar is an hour-long solo performance tracing a trans man’s journey, blending personal narrative, movement, poetry and humour to explore dysphoria, belonging and identity. Produced by The Yellow Man Stories, it’s part of a 100-show tour across India and has previously played Mumbai, Delhi and Pune. The evening also features a screening tied to the documentary How Much Space Does a Firefly Take? plus a set of queer artists yet to be announced. 2 hours, 18+, in Hindi, English and Punjabi. Eat nearby: Studio Rastarang sits in Sector 130’s Wazidpur pocket, quieter than the mall circuit; WáB Café, a short drive away in the same sector, is a good bet for a bite before or after the show.
Over at Highlane Comedy Club, Sector 18, engineer-turned-comic Rupali Tyagi brings her solo hour, weaving relatable stories about being a wife, daughter and new mother into a Hindi-English set. 90 minutes, seated indoor show, 18+, kids not allowed. Eat nearby: Sector 18 is Noida’s biggest dining hub, so DLF Mall of India and Great India Place are both close by, with everything from Barbeque Nation and Social to Mamagoto and Punjab Grill.
And Saturday closes out with a third register entirely: Nidhi Narwal LIVE, back at Laugh Casa, is a spoken-word poetry show built around the idea that “words have hands” — expect a performance that leans into connection and emotional resonance rather than punchlines, a genuine change of pace from the club’s usual stand-up slots. Sufi Night & Kids Talent Hunt at Gulshan One29 runs both Saturday and Sunday from 5pm: a free Sufi music evening by ASR Group, alongside a Kids Talent Hunt (registration mandatory) and flea market pop-ups, making it one of the few genuinely family-friendly picks this weekend, and free to walk into for the music portion.
Delhi NCR
Sonu Nigam pays tribute to Mohammed Rafi with a live orchestra at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, running Bollywood and retro hits over 2 hours 30 minutes. It’s the biggest ticketed event on Noida NCR’s radar this weekend, with tiers starting at ₹3,799 and several already fast filling; entry from age 5+. Getting there: nearest metro is Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector 25 itself (Airport Express Line), directly under the venue; from Noida it’s roughly 1-1.5 hours by metro with one or two interchanges, so budget for the drive/metro time. Paid parking is available at the venue. Eat nearby: Vegas Mall, Dwarka, is about 2km away, a short drive or auto ride rather than a walk, and has a full food court if you want to eat before or after the show.
Noor-e-Nizami is an immersive candlelit qawwali evening featuring Nizami Bandhu, built around the Sufi tradition of Samaa (deep listening). Expect a modern mehfil themed around devotion, longing and transcendence, in a premium seated setting at Kamani Auditorium. 2 hours 15 minutes, Hindi/Urdu, kid-friendly (5+), gates open 6.30pm.
Anubhav Singh Bassi brings his stand-up special Kisi Ko Batana Mat to Talkatora Indoor Stadium with two shows, 3pm and 7pm, roughly 2 hours each, 16+. Nearest metro: Patel Chowk (Yellow Line) or Ashram Marg (Blue Line).
PRONOUNS’26, now in its third edition, is Artworm’s annual queer art and music festival, running both Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 9pm at BeeYoung Brew Garden, Malviya Nagar. General entry is free and includes art pop-ups, a live music line-up, board games and a pet-friendly, indoor-outdoor setup. Alongside the free programme, the festival runs paid hands-on workshops with a complimentary drink included: a Cap Painting session on Saturday (4.30pm-6.30pm, ₹949), a Fan Painting workshop on Saturday (2pm-4pm, ₹799), and a comic-making workshop called Say It With a Comic on Sunday (4.30pm, ₹1,200). Entry and workshops are for ages 16+; the event runs in Hinglish.
Flux of Being is a free solo exhibition by National award-winning artist Ravi Kant Jha, exploring consciousness, memory and transformation through fluid forms and layered compositions. It opens with an inauguration on Saturday at 5pm, then stays open to the public on Sunday from 11am to 7pm, open to all.
Delhi NCR: Also On
Botanical artist and historian Malini Saigal hosts a free illustrated talk at 5.30pm tracing the mango’s symbolism through Indian history (registration required, limited seats), paired with a separate paid hands-on sketching and painting workshop from 2pm, 15+, beginners welcome, bring your own pencil, eraser and watercolours. Both are organised via Sunder Nursery. Register for the free talk or book the workshop.
Camera Commune hosts a free screening of Kurosawa’s No Regrets for Our Youth (1946) at Mool, South Ex 2, no registration mentioned.
Sunday, 26 July
Noida / Greater Noida
Run Wild. Rave Wilder., organised by Uprun, pairs a 4KM community run through Small Talk’s forest-inspired cafe setting with a jungle-themed rave afterward: live DJ, live percussionist, tribal tattoos, a photo booth and brand activations. Early bird tickets are limited before prices rise.
If a quieter Sunday morning suits you better, the Bird Walk at Surajpur Wetland, run by Ataavi Bird Foundation with Aleen Mukherjee, is a guided 2-hour walk for birders of all levels. Wear earthy tones and closed-toe shoes, bring binoculars if you have them, and register in advance via the Google Form; payment is via QR code with a screenshot sent as confirmation.
Sunday afternoon brings the weekend’s clearest family pick: a superhero-themed Kids Carnival at Jalisco Brews & Bites, Sector 153, with unlimited buffet, live food counters and carnival games and activities for 4 hours. Delhi NCR
Now entering its 25th year, Banyan Tree’s Barkha Ritu is a classical music festival built around monsoon Raagas such as Malhar, Des, Megharanjani and Varunapriya, performed by leading Indian classical artists. 3 hours, Hindi/English, 8+.
Nabeel Khan, billed as the “World’s Youngest Sarangi Maestro,” brings a 3-hour set blending sarangi with fusion and contemporary elements. 18+, Hindi/Punjabi, seated and standing. Worth knowing before you book: the headline ticket price doesn’t include the gate cover charge (₹500-1,000 depending on ticket type), which is redeemable against food and drink at the venue but adds meaningfully to the real cost of the night.
PRONOUNS’26 continues into Sunday with the same free general entry, art and music programme, plus the Say It With a Comic workshop at 4.30pm (₹1,200); see full details under Saturday above. Flux of Being’s public viewing also continues Sunday, 11am-7pm, at IIC Annexe.

Monsoon-proofing this weekend is mostly straightforward: Laugh Casa, Highlane, Studio XO, Studio Rastarang, Yashobhoomi, Kamani, Talkatora, Gulmohar/IHC, IIC Annexe and Bharat Mandapam are all fully indoor. The one event with real weather exposure is PRONOUNS’26 at BeeYoung Brew Garden — the “Brew Garden” name suggests at least partial outdoor space, and we don’t have confirmed indoor-backup details from Artworm, so check their Instagram closer to the date if it’s raining. Run Wild and the Bird Walk are both outdoor and weather-dependent by nature; if it’s pouring at 6am, treat both as postponable rather than plan A.
