Rakhi-Teej Mela and Bazaars in Noida and NCR

The soft pitter patter of rain drops outside makes you go singing the Bollywood melody ‘aaya saawan jhoomke’. Rain-washed  trees, lush greenery and sondhi smell of mitti are the quintessential signs of monsoons. The rain gods finally smiled upon the city and opened the skies relieving us of the killer humid conditions. Aha Monsoon is here! Monsoon ushers in the season of festivities too with Teej and Rakhi celebrated in the month of Saawan. Coincidentally Eid-ul-Fitr is also round the corner.

Pandora’s Noida Moms Haat Bazaar

The Mompreneurs of Noida have come together to showcase their talent in the creative and business world by putting up a Teej and Rakhi exhibition. An assemblage of Diamond and Silver jewelery, fine clothing in Lucknawi, Chanderi, Pashmina, Pakistani, chiffon and other varieties, colorful bangles, hair accessories, home decor and many more for the coming festival will be on display. Lucky prizes for the visitors and cognitive skills programs for the kids are the additional attractions of the Teej bazaar.

Rakhi and Teej Bazaar 2014 in Noida

Exclusive Teej and Rakhi Bazaar in Noida

The two-day exclusive Teej and Rakhi Bazaar will have stalls displaying apparels, footwear, jewelery, home decor, bags and purses and many gifting ideas especially for you. Visit the stalls for mouth watering food, choori, mehndi and much more. special kid zone and live cartoon characters will be the major attractions for your kids while you shop away to glory. Teej Mela @ Dilli Haat 

Dilli Haat is another destination one should not give a miss. The place reverberates with the sounds of Nagada and colorful performances by folk artists from Rajasthan. Bangles, bindis and other colorful knick knacks dangling on the stalls enthrall the senses of visitors with myriads of colors on display. Artisans from across the country have set up their stalls at Dilli Haat to sell their exquisite handicrafts and artwork. Dilli Haat offers stalls for chooriyan, mehndi application and hair beading, Lehariya sarees and dupatta from Jaipur at Teej festival. Ghevaar, Daal Baati Choorma and pyaz ki kachori from Jaipur are other highlights of the event.

Niharika NGO’s Rakhi and Teej Bazaar 

Niharika is a 550 members strong NGO working towards the cause of upliftment of womenfolk with a motto of ‘Mahilayen Mahilaon ke Liye’. Visit their exhibition, shop and support their cause.

UDAAN NGO’s Rakhi Teej Exhibition 2014 

Visit the exhibition in Faridabad organized by Udaan displaying the artifacts made by its members and beneficiaries at Vibe by The Lalit Traveller Hotel. Udaan, an NGO started by few women in Faridabad, is dedicated towards underprivileged children and other social causes. The money collected from this exhibition will go towards philanthropic efforts.

  1. I lived in Sector 29 long ago. Nostalgia :). Heard Noida has changed dramatically. Bangel had no significant traffic and a lazy village when I was around, now it should be a heart-throb place? 🙂

  2. Glad to know that we have Noida as a common thread. Noida for sure has changed a lot over the years…Bhangel being close to the industrial area has become a hub. Mostly area near Atta market has taken rapid strides in development with a dedicated metro line and governments focus on this area.

  3. A very popular Vibhavari Teej Utsav in ghaziabad is organised by Vibhavari Housewives association.It is one of the oldest n renowned mela n enjoyes the previledge of starting Teej mela concept in ghaziabad.lastly organized it's 17th mela in 2015.

We manufacture bags, File and folders and other related items. We keep innovating and create well designed products predominantly by recycling and up cycling fabric, paper, e-waste i request want to put stalls in these fair…how to go about it please 2018 Raksha bhandhan and Teej Mela .
