Auto Expo – The Motor Show 2018. Big cars, latest bikes, muscle power of mean machines. Witnesss it all at Auto Expo 2018 which kick-starts in the second week of February 2018. The Motor Show is scheduled from 9-14 February 2018 at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, while Components Show will be held at the Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from 8-11 February 2018. The joint inauguration of Auto Expo 2018 will be held on 8th February 2018.

This time the Motor Show will witness one additional day, extending the world-class experience to auto-enthusiasts. This extension has been done due to the rising interest and increasing footfalls of the visitors.

Backstory of Auto Expo

The Association of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (currently Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers – SIAM), and the Auto Component Manufactures Association of India (ACMA) celebrated 25 years of their existence in 1985. And decided to organize in cooperation with the then Association of Indian Engineering Industry (now CII), the Auto Expo from 3rd to 12th January 1986 at Pragati Maidan .

The first Auto Expo in 1986 was a window on technology transfer since it showed how the Indian automotive industries were absorbing new technologies & promoting indigenous R & D for adapting these technologies to the rugged Indian conditions! The 10 day show was a path breaking event with the then Prime Minister Mr. Rajiv Gandhi visiting the show to encourage the industry.

They celebrated the 50 years of SIAM and ACMA in 2010 & 25 years of Auto Expo in 2012 which was the 11th Auto Expo organized jointly by ACMA, CII and SIAM at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, India and focused on the theme Mobility for All.

Over the years, Auto Expo has evolved from providing a platform for joint ventures, generating inquiries, one to one interaction, etc. to a more focused and modern Motor Show. This platform is used for brand promotion and corporate image development by Exhibitors. Auto Expo has always witnessed large footfall of more than a million people visiting the show and has emerged as not only one of the largest exhibition anywhere in India both in terms of the space occupied and in terms of crowd but also one of the major Motor Shows of the world. Auto Expo attracts presence of all the automobile majors besides participation from over 30 countries including China, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, South Africa, Singapore, Sweden, Taiwan, United Kingdom, United States of America, etc.

The Venue – India Expo mart

Auto Expo- The Motor Show 2018 will be held at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida. There are 14 exhibition halls apart from outdoor areas for various activities and Food & Beverages. There are 6 entry gates and 6 exit gates at IEML. There will be a Taxi stand and Auto Stand for people to move in and out of the venue.

Friday, 9th February 2018: 1000 – 1300 Hrs (Business Hours) | 1300 – 1800 Hrs (General Hours)
Saturday, 10th February 2018: 1000 – 1900 Hrs (General Hours)
Sunday, 11th February 2018: 1000 – 1900 Hrs (General Hours)
Monday, 12th February 2018: 1000 – 1300 Hrs (Business Hours) | 1300 – 1800 Hrs (General Hours)
Tuesday, 13th February 2018: 1000 – 1300 Hrs (Business Hours) | 1300 – 1700 Hrs (General Hours)
Wednesday, 14th February 2018: 1000 – 1700 Hrs (General Hours)

Entry into the venue by ticket holders will be allowed at the gates not before 10am every day and gate entry will be closed one hour before official close of exhibition every day. Entry into halls will be closed 30 minutes before official closing time of the day.

Tickets – Auto Expo – The Motor Show 2018

Tix strating from INR 350 for general public and INR 750 for Business class can be booked from BookMyShow website and select Metro stations.  Auto Expo – The Motor Show 2018 is a ticketed event, entry will be by tickets only. Each ticket admits one person only. No ticket is required for children up to five years of age. Also, no ticket will be required for persons on wheel chair and one person helping the person in wheelchair to move around.

Entry into the venue would be subjected to security checks. Security officials would be frisking all visitors at the entry points.

Any kind of cooked /uncooked, packed/unpacked food and beverages (alcoholic/non-alcoholic) will not be allowed to be brought into the venue. Food and beverages will be available at the venue on payment basis.

Nearest Metro Station to the Venue

Botanical Garden, Noida is the nearest Metro station which is about 25 minutes away from India Expo Mart (IEML) by car. However, Noida City Center, the terminal station of the metro route is only two stations later (approx. 4 minutes) and can be disembarked comfortably to avoid any rush. Adequate Free shuttle buses will be run from Botanical garden Metro Station to IEML.

Free Shuttle Bus service would be operational between Okhla Bird Sanctuary Metro Station to India Exposition Mart. It will be available 1 hour prior and 1-hour post to the Show Timings.

From Okhla Bird Sanctuary Metro Station to India Expo. Mart Greater Noida
( First Bus – 9:00 AM ) ( Last Bus – 7:00 PM )

From India Expo. Mart Greater Noida To Okhla Bird Sanctuary Metro Station

Parking

Adequate parking space around the venue available. Parking is only allowed at the designated parking area. Area immediately around India Expo Mart will be No Parking Zone. There will be a Taxi stand and Auto Stand for people to move in and out of the venue.
