India’s favourite family car Santro is back! Hyundai launched the #All New Santro in the Indian market, at a starting price of Rs 3.89 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
The iconic ‘tall boy’ hatch Hyundai Santro 2018 was unveiled at a glitzy world premiere this Tuesday, October 23 at Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi. The launch event was attended by the brand ambassador Shah Rukh Khan, print and digital media people and Team Hyundai.

Hyundai Santro 2018 is launched in a new avatar after 20 years since the original debuted in September 1998. The tall boy Santro became the most popular car from Hyundai in India. In fact, it became the family’s first choice for car edging out others with its new look and style. This made Hyundai a household name in India.
The newly launched Hyundai Santro is priced from Rs 3.89 lakhs to Rs 5.64 lakhs. It is available in five trims in petrol and factory-fitted CNG options – D-Lite, Era, Magna, Asta and Sportz. It is positioned between the Eon and Grand i10 in the company line-up.
The new Hyundai Santro 2018 is aimed at family buyers who seek utmost comfort with spacious cabin feel without compromising on styling. Inside the cabin, it provides higher seating position for easy movement in and out of the car and superior all round visibility. While the rear passengers get superior headroom and shoulder room which is a delight especially for long distance travels.
The Exterior styling of the new Santro is defined by Hyundai’s signature cascade grille with chrome surround with uniquely positioned fog lamps that projects wide, sporty and modern premium appeal of the car. The Bold Bonnet character lines with Hyundai logo, swept back headlamps and first-in-segment Micro Antenna gives a fresh appeal to Hyundai design language. The hatchback’s sculpted body forms are complimented smoothly by dynamic Z Shaped character lines. The stylish tail lamps and sporty dual tone rear bumper with reflectors give modern sporty appeal.

Hyundai Santro 2018 will be available in array of 7 exterior colours including 2 new colours – Imperial Beige and Diana Green others beingTyphoon Silver, Polar White, Stardust (dark grey), Marina Blue and Fiery Red. The All New SANTRO comes with two interior colour options Premium Beige with Champagne Gold inserts and Sporty All Black Interiors with Diana Green colour inserts based on exterior colours.
The new Hyundai Santro is modern, stylish and packed with premium features in the entry-level hatchback segment. It is pitched against rivals like Renault Kwid, Maruti Celerio, Maruti WagonR and the Tata Tiago. Online bookings opened earlier this month and the company has already garnered 23,500 bookings to date. Asta and Sportz variants have attracted the most bookings.
