Theme Flower of The Noida Flower Show 2023 – Marigold
Marigold, the cheerful flower with warm colors is the theme flower of 2023 Noida Flower Show.
Marigold, or gainda ka phool as we know it, is a no-fuss annual that adds color of sunshine to your garden. They bring pollinators like butterflies, bees, ladybugs, and other beneficial insects too. Give them full sun and some well-draining soil and watch them bloom from late spring until fall. In fact you will find them all year round.
In India, their saffron hue is considered very auspicious, and holds spiritual significance as a symbol of surrender to god. During Indian festivals and auspicious occasions like weddings marigold strings are used to decorate the doors and windows of homes. Also marigold garlands and blooms are offered to Hindu gods.
