Noida Weather: Winter Is Knocking, But It Hasn’t Moved In Yet

Last updated: October 30, 2026

Noida’s October just took an unexpected turn. Since Thursday morning, overnight rain and thunderstorms across Delhi-NCR have swapped the lingering warmth for cool winds, grey skies and a definite nip in the air.

If you’ve been waiting for the weather to turn, this might just be the change you’ve been looking forward to. Winter seems to be knocking on Noida’s door, albeit a little earlier than expected.

A sudden drop in temperatures

The rain has pulled temperatures down noticeably across Noida and the rest of NCR. Delhi recorded its lowest maximum temperature in four years after the downpour, and the breeze has made the change feel sharper still.

Before you dig out the woollens, though, a small catch. This chill comes from the current weather system. It doesn’t mean winter has settled in for good.

🌤️ Noida Weather Forecast: Sunday, November 1

The weather is expected to settle down as November begins, with mainly clear to partly cloudy skies and no rain anticipated.

Daytime maximum: 28°C–30°C
Night-time minimum: 16°C–18°C
Sky conditions: Mainly clear to partly cloudy
Rain: Not expected

The recent chill may give way to familiar daytime warmth, while mornings and evenings could continue to feel pleasantly cool.

Forecast conditions may change. Check the latest IMD updates before making weather-related plans.

A little relief from the rain, but the pollution story isn’t quite rosy

Locality-wise AQI readings across Noida remain mixed, with several areas reporting poor or unhealthy air. While showers can temporarily help clear pollutants, the improvement isn’t uniform across the city. With winter approaching and GRAP measures in place, residents should continue monitoring local air quality.

Noida AQI Update: Rain Brings Uneven Relief

The rain may have brought some relief, but air quality readings across Noida remain mixed. The locality-wise data shows readings ranging from 98 to 181, with several areas still reporting poor or unhealthy air quality.

Lowest reading: 98 at Sector 150, Station 1
Highest reading: 181 at Block B, Station 1
Other readings: 105 at Sector 149 and 123 at Sector 134, Station 1
Overall picture: Many listed locations remain in the Poor or Unhealthy categories

A spell of rain does not necessarily mean clean air across the city. Pollution levels can vary considerably between neighbourhoods, so check your local reading before heading outdoors.

So, has winter finally arrived in Noida?

Not quite.

One spell of rain and a few cooler days make a good preview, but they don’t make a season. The steadier winter chill, the foggy mornings and the colder nights are still ahead. For now, enjoy the change, make the most of the clearer air, and keep a light jacket handy for early outings.

Rain has helped, but GRAP restrictions remain

Don’t read the clearer skies as the end of the pollution fight. GRAP Stage I has been in force across Delhi-NCR since October 21. It targets road dust, construction dust, waste burning and other local sources. On the ground, that means mechanized road sweeping, water sprinkling, dust-control measures at construction sites and a ban on open burning of waste.

As temperatures fall, pollutants find it harder to disperse, so today’s improvement could easily reverse.

Driving from Noida to Delhi? Check the new vehicle rules

If you cross the Delhi border regularly, there’s an update you shouldn’t skip.

From Sunday, November 1, 2026, revised vehicle-entry restrictions are scheduled to take effect in Delhi. Entry will be allowed for eligible BS-VI-compliant vehicles, CNG vehicles, electric vehicles and exempted vehicles, subject to the applicable conditions. Certain non-compliant vehicles registered outside Delhi will face restrictions, and all vehicles must meet Pollution Under Control Certificate requirements.

The rules also cover interstate buses that don’t meet the prescribed emission standards. Trucks not bound for Delhi may be required to use the peripheral expressways.

Check your vehicle’s eligibility before you set out. For clarifications, refer to the latest Delhi Traffic Police advisory and official CAQM directions.

Noida Diary takeaway

Winter is knocking, but it hasn’t quite moved in. The rain has brought cooler air and a break from pollution, while GRAP measures continue and tighter Delhi entry rules begin on Sunday. With daytime temperatures likely to climb again, Noida’s weather is keeping us on our toes a little longer. Use these days to check your vehicle documents and plan your Delhi commute.

Weather and air quality can vary across Noida. Check the latest IMD forecast and CPCB air quality updates for current readings.
